OE GA 5-25-12
Proposal: If someone proposes an amendment the facilitator will get specific language from that person and who may seek input from other people before finalizing it. After the language from the proposer is settled, the facilitator will check with the group if there are any questions or concerns. If there are some, they will allow some time for these to be aired and addressed. If there are no questions, or concerns, or if there were but the facilitator thinks there has been enough conversation (based on the agenda schedule, and how the conversation is going), they will test for consensus. CONSENSED with one Stand Aside for personal reasons.
Discussion: The facilitators will check with the group to see if there is consensus on any amendment to the proposal. We will not use the term “friendly amendment,” we will only use the term “amendment” since proposals are not owned by individuals, they are owned by the group.

Amendment: They will test for consensus on the language of the amendment. Consensus will be sought for each amendment. CONSENSED
