COMMUNITY SUPPORTED SHELTERS (CSS) – Bathrooms are Essential

The need for a bathroom cannot be avoided, so what do you do if you are unhoused? Public bathrooms are few and far between and many businesses prohibit public use of their bathroom or at the very least expect you to be a patron.  That is why the service that CSS provides by having port-a-potties helps the health and well being of our entire community.

The need is simple logic and it is for the benefit of our whole city, to provide public bathrooms that are easily available in every neighborhood.  The residents of the Safe Spot will tell you it is one of the most important features of the camp.  We encourage you to use the media we share here to communicate with your local representatives.  Help them recognize the need and open up more bathrooms instead of closing them; which is the current trend.
