David has a Master’s degree in systematic design-planning and likes to build stuff like 75 canoes, one canoe-shaped electric car, and a vision of a world at peace. He’s authored two books, *The Stripper’s Guide to Canoe-building,* and *Love Always Wins: Hope for Healing the Epidemic of Violence.*

He believes that humanity is spiraling upward in knowledge and abilities that will promote, worldwide, the healthy growth and development of children; prosperity and safety for adults; as well as cooperative learning and problem-solving. “Such genius will flower,” he says, “that sometime in the future as we look back at the current state of humanity, it will seem as if we were like the dodo, and we will wonder why and how we were saved from extinction.
