SLEEPS (Safe Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep) – FIRST PUBLIC MEETING – November 11, 2012
SLEEPS held its first official meeting in a basement room of the First Christian Church on 1166 Oak St., Eugene Oregon. People involved with Nickelsville (in Seattle), Dignity Village and Right 2 Dream 2 (in Portland) came to help us in Eugene understand how they got their city to allow space for the unhoused to have a legal place to sleep at night.
