OCCUPY EUGENE’S (OE) – EARLY DAYS

One of Occupy Eugene’s first meetings was on October 8, 2011 at a warehouse on 7th & Polk–the same one that eventually became Occupy IV.  There, community members strategized about how to get involved with the Occupy movement that started with Adbusters call to action against the corporate greed being exercised on Wall Street.  A march was planned for October 15, 2011 and that was the beginning of Occupy here in Eugene.
