OCCUPY EUGENE ACTIVIST TRAINING

Since Occupy Eugene began, there has been a lot of effort to share information about how to be an effective activist.  Occupy Eugene, in collaboration with the Civil Liberties Defense Center (CLDC), presented a 15-week organizer training series for social justice activists that was hosted by Lauren Regan (CLDC lawyer).  Several different key speakers taught different classes during the series.  They shared their expertise on subjects such as preparing for a Direct Action, and De-escalation techniques.  It was called the Occupation Education Training Series and it along with other training videos are available to watch on the occupyeugenemedia youtube channel.
