Apologies, but no results were found.
A kitchen is shared by the village. At first it was simply a grill under a canopy outside. Now the kitchen has plumbing, a refrigerator and stocked pantry. A resident of the village organized the pantry, so it could be certified to accept donations from Lane County Foods.
Having a place to prepare meals is an essential function of the village. It saves residents a lot of money to be able to buy meals to cook at home. One difficulty unhoused people struggle with is being forced to buy expensive packaged foods that don’t need cooking because they have no place to cook.
