SLEEPS (Safe Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep) – SNOW AT THE OLD FEDERAL BUILDING PROTEST CAMP – February 9, 2014

A severe storm came and lasted longer than any Eugene had for many prior years.  The weather was incredibly hard for the unhoused, with many getting frostbite.  Since they have no place to dry wet or frozen socks, it’s surprisingly common for people living on the streets to lose toes or fingers because of frostbite.
