SLEEPS had a Protest Camp behind the Federal Courthouse to denounce the decision of the city to allow the community garden that brought together college students and the unhoused to grow food to give to Food For Lane County. The garden enabled contact between the two cultures that cultivated a greater understanding for everyone. The property was sold to the Northwest Community Credit Union to build a new bank.
