OCCUPY MEDICAL (OM) – The Mobile Clinic Bus

Occupy Medical applied for a grant and received the bus for their Mobile Clinic in 2012. They had been withstanding wind and rain while working inside canopies for a year and the bus was an amazing step forward. The community pitched in to do what was needed for the bus to be used as Occupy Medial’s mobile clinic.

Each Sunday a volunteer drives the bus and parks it on Oak Street, next to the Park Blocks. Hundreds of people are receive much needed medical services with no cost and no income verification required. Occupy Medical has improved the quality of life for many people in Eugene; unhoused and housed.
