WHOVILLE ON RIVER ROAD & THE NORTHWEST (NW) EXPRESSWAY

Whoville moved to River Rd. and the NW Expressway in the beginning of September, 2013.  They stayed at first on the northwest corner of the intersection.  In just one week the camp had grew so large that they decided part of the group would move to the southwest corner of that same intersection and part of them would move back to the Lane County Fairgrounds on 13th Ave.  Slowly the media became more aware of their efforts and as the weather worsened, it was clear to more and more people seeing the conditions that our unhoused suffer–human rights need to be fought for and then truly protected in Eugene!
