Whoville residents and advocates gather in City Manager Ruiz’s office on April 1 to ask him to meet with them regarding the impending shutdown of Whoville and the need to set up “rest stop” camps where the displaced Whos can go. Ruiz has so far refused to meet, leading to the occupation of his office.
