SLEEPS (Safe Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep) – Photos and Videos of the Protest Camp at Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza

Many people took photos and videos of the protest camp at Wayne Morse Free Speech Plaza.  SLEEPS sponsored events took place, where the public was invited to meet protesters so they could better understand the reason for the SLEEPS protest.  Press Conferences, participation in the Friday Art Walk and a general effort to be visible with appropriate messaging on signs were some of the tactics used.  The media in this part of the library will paint the picture of what the SLEEPS camp looked like and why they protest.
