Apologies, but no results were found.
While Occupy Eugene was at Washington Jefferson Park, Occupy Medical (OM) was there and played a vital role, helping people in the Protest Camp. They helped protesters stay hydrated and other minor healthcare needs. They were prepared to help with other more serious possibilities of injury that come with civil disobedience and they made new activists feel like everyone was being watched out for.
Occupy Medical was a god send to people who came to the park in need of a legal place for shelter. They helped the uncountable unhoused people in the park and it quickly became obvious that weather exposure was causing that serious health problems. Seeing this as preventable, many Occupy Medical volunteers participated to make the situation better in Eugene.
