COMMUNITY SUPPORTED SHELTERS (CSS) – Tents For Shelter

Having a tent for shelter is much more important than many may realize.  In some circumstances it can be the difference between life and death; especially for people struggling with health issues.  Being sick because of lack of shelter in the elements is a major cause for Emergency Room visits by the unhoused, which ends up costing our whole community money while the illnesses themselves are spread.  This causes a health hazard for everyone.  Safe spots make it possible to end this cycle while providing unhoused people with the meager but meaningful ability to have legal shelter.

Shelter is a human right but maybe more importantly, it is a human need for survival.
