OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE EUGENE (OVE) – Community Showers/Bathroom/Laundry

At first, OVE residents had port-a-potties.  Then they built a building with a wheelchair accessible bathroom and shower rooms.  They painted a mural on its front and it was a fantastic addition to the resources that OVE offered.  People would wash laundry for folks from the village for quite awhile, until finally they were given an industrial washer/dryer set.  Now the villagers have everything they need, on site!  It helps immeasurably when most residents have no car and all these amenities used to be things they would travel by foot to attain.
