Apologies, but no results were found.
As an unhoused person in Eugene, you suffer through weather conditions like snow, rain, and wind. It is illegal to put up a shelter to sleep at night but you must do it to survive, so you accept life as a criminal, just to meet your basic human needs. The images of the tents and structures during harsh weather conditions at the Whoville sanctuary on Hilyard street show the bitter truth about the life of unhoused residents in our community. It is hard to believe that we allow such suffering in our modern day society to go on. What’s worse is that it is actually illegal to create the meager shelters you see protecting people from the elements in Whoville.
