SLEEPS (Safe Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep)

SLEEPS (Safe Legally Entitled Emergency Places to Sleep) began its campaign to protest for the right to sleep in Eugene on November 11, 2012.  Many members of Occupy Eugene participated in the SLEEPS campaign after seeing the suffering of those who showed up at the Occupy Eugene protest, because they were desperate for a legal place to sleep.
